They say infinite monkeys banging on infinite typewriters will eventually produce Shakespeare. While true(-ish, ignoring the combinatorial size), it then becomes a problem of searching the output and filtering out good content from bad. This requires intelligence that the monkeys didn’t apply in the writing process. Given the infinite output set, it’s more difficult than writing it yourself. AI-generated writing works the same way. Today we specifically see the infinite monkey problem in AI-generated bug reports.
