@natebowling@scholar.social My district had previously banned phones for K-5. This year it moved up to MS & HS. Even some of the pissed off kids had to grudgingly report they talk to friends more, pay attention more in class, & actually eat a snack at snack break rather than get on their phones.

@Nshrubs@mstdn.social It's an absolute no brainer and one of those things people somehow treat as unimaginable, even though lots of places are doing it successfully. It's kinda like universal healthcare in America.
