@johnefrancis@cosocial.ca Interesting. I know they feed on insects for protein, so maybe seeds fill that gap? It's cold here (single digits C), nothing blooming yet, no flying insects. Will watch for oriole activity at the seed feeder.

@Byronrabbit@mastodon.thirring.org there have been some insects during warmer days, there is fresh bat poop under the bat house. I've seen a few flowering trees in Nepean. Tulips barely open.
