Cheung Chau (長洲/"Long Island") has a tradition of celebrating Buddha's Birthday and the entire island goes into vegetarian mode for a week. The fun thing is, even McDonald's has to follow this tradition. So for a limited time, you can buy only vegan burgers in McDonald's. The Cheung Chau branch is the only one that does that in Hong Kong. Here's a menu for your reference. McVeggie is a mushroom burger.
