@jordinn@zirk.us It is not my research area, but as a progressive Christian (UCC) myself, I somewhat follow the sociological studies of progressive Christianity, of which there are quite a few, as well as (of course) of conservative groups. It happens that I knew Nancy Ammerman back in the 1970s, when she was doing her master's degree at the University of Louisville where I was an assistant professor, before both of us moved on to other things. 1/2
