@jordinn@zirk.us Because my field is social movements, I am mostly aware of research on faith-based community action organizations. And having been in and around congregational leadership during COVID, I know that many churches are falling apart right now. And my collaborator on the Black protest project, Chaeyoon Lim, looks at religion and civic participation. I'm not in it, but there is definitely a lively group of sociologists studying religion across the spectrum. 2/2
