Reminded me of a very recent post by @stefano@mastodon.bsd.cafe about this “vibe coding with AI” thing, where he, imo rightfully, states that we are heading to a situation were we will lose control of our coding tools if this keeps growing as intended.

@tagomago@mastodon.social @dvandal@infosec.exchange @davidgerard@circumstances.run @stefano@mastodon.bsd.cafe 💯 this. Do we want to inhabit a world where the “knowledge“ is locked up behind LLM paywalls? A world where Stack Overflow and other open knowledge sharing spaces wither and disappear and only the paid bots have access to the information that once was freely available?

@tagomago@mastodon.social @dvandal@infosec.exchange @davidgerard@circumstances.run @stefano@mastodon.bsd.cafe Agent will soon directly produce binaries, bypassing source code, and so bypassing humans. And I'm sure humans will buy that, at least those that let debugging be done by agents.
