@deech@mastodon.social is it that we didn’t know or that we didn’t care to know? Like we knew specs, docs, testing, QA, &c all help produce good things that we want, but we also don’t want to spend any money (via time or resources as well) on any of those things

@lojikil@mastodon.social But is it useful to separate the two? As an example from my own experiences with typed langs, on the one hand, yes, they do eliminate errors in a robust way in some cases, but on the other they're a royal PITA so people just go with Python and I can't blame them.
