On May 16, 1971, my wife's cousin Craig Farlow was shot down after inserting ARVN Marines near Hue in Vietnam. His helicopter exploded on impact. His remains were never recovered.
He had just turned 23.
Laura wrote in an online memorial, "Craig was the best of us."
