I need to stop using VSCode. Today's obvious bug: I search a directory for a string and get 7 results in 4 files. I add another file to search in and one of those files goes away. It's obviously slopcoded garbage now. It's getting worse and worse and isn't suitable for doing actual work. I just have to have the energy to switch to something else (that is permitted in this work environment) and right now I do not. fuck.
