@mekkaokereke Why is so much Black music about violence and misogyny? Well, let's take a look at works by* white* artists, particularly those from the 1960s and '50s. And they're all on YouTube for your enjoyment. There's *Johnny Get Angr*y by Joanie Summers, *Lightning Strikes Again* by Lou Christie, and Connie Francis' *Lipstick's on Your Collar*, (1959). And there's more where that came from. So, Black artists don't have a corner on violence and misogyny when it comes to popular songs.
