@lolcat@digipres.club Sadly I'm seeing evidence that it's probably been more thoroughly stripped out and renovated, but one of the more surreal ones I remember was the former Omni Mall space in Miami. I found at least one extremely reliable way to get into it and also a weird area on the first floor that had been a nightclub last used in the 80s! The aerial photos of the building now are perplexing - there's astroturf on what used to be the entrance to a conference center on the upper floors...???

@lolcat@digipres.club the last time I was there, downtown Miami had a lot of WEIRD SHIT. It was glorious. There were all these areas where adjoining office buildings and stuff had enclosed their alleyways and turned them into shopping malls, places where you could walk right from one of those into private offices, at least one bizarro glass tube corridor that took you under an expressway (Knight Center Metromover station to the James L. Knight Center) meanwhile downtown Sac is just hostile :(
