You shouldn't poison people to keep being competitive. And if you say 'but this is how capitalism works', then still, it's your own problem, your own risk as a company, if you can't keep up and you shouldn't make it everybody's problem.

In the overall system, the producers must make a living. What you propose is a radical change. Not just an adjustment law. Leaving capitalism and free market exchanges is not on the table.
