@valthonis@dice.camp yeah and we know canonically that illusion magic is a specialty of Gandalf's! He makes fancy magic fireworks! He definitely can do real combat magic (see balrog fight and when he helps Theodin) but yeah most of his shit is casual illusion work and theatrics
