@MBNashTN @johnettesnuggs @BlippyTheWonderSlug @purplepadma fwiw: this idea of a stern Old Testament God vs a loving New Testament God isn't well supported in scripture; there's plenty of grace in the Hebrew Bible and tons of judgment in the Gospels and Revelation. But more importantly it's lowkey antisemitic to say Jews worship a meaner God than Christians. I know it's not intended that way, but that's effectively what's being said. I kinda wish this trope would die.
