@meadow@lgbtqia.space @vlrny@disabled.social That is a harrowing experience and made me want to share my closest to death (far from near death though) from a white water rafting incident. The raft flipped and in the safety talk we were told to hold on that the guide would come and get us. So I held on. Until I realized that no one was coming to get me, and I had to save myself. Many lessons to learn from rafting accidents apparently.
