A live conversation via a jitsi call. Either at 0UTC Wednesday ("Tuesday evening") mp3 broadcast on anonradio.net then archived on https://toobnix.org/a/screwtape/videos , or at 8UTC Sunday a peertube live similarly.
The live conversation happens in the https://lambda.moo.mud.org/ MUD, normally about 10 multifariously knowledgeable people.
Very informal. We do start by discussing the state of the climate and reading a haiku written by KMP, then lisp/smallnet stuff.

I think I can see how it can useful from my perspective. 0UTC does not work with my timezone, but 8UTC does work - it will be 10am Warsaw time. (Although, I have to say that climate takes I saw in several recordings from the past raised questions)
