@onepict@chaos.social @amcooper@toot.cat I've been running #vimclassic for a few weeks now. Hard to tell the difference really. It was forked before the vim9 script was introduced, but I never used that so I don't miss it.
No release as yet, but there's a small team getting it ready. Come join us on libera.chat on #vim-classic 😉
I have an ebuild ready to go for #gentoo as soon as a release is announced - we want to provide LLM-free alternatives for users. eVi is another fork that we're looking at.

@dentangle@chaos.social I’ve been running Neovim because I don’t like vimscript and don't hate lua. So right now I’m trying to decide whether to go to vim classic or emacs. I’ve shocked myself by being open to emacs when I never really was before. Anyway, good luck! Not sure you’ll need it! @onepict@chaos.social
