@vga256@mastodon.tomodori.net Early Macintosh had some great skeuomorphic software solutions - the benefit of being a desktop GUI pioneer. My favorite oddball piece of software of this kind is "Mac Calligraphy" It not only tries to mimic the process and hand movements of real eastern calligraphy (down to mixing your own ink), it gives you an option to look up from the page to enjoy a serene garden. https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/maccalligraphy
