@scoutie@famichiki.jp have you had it before? It kept getting worse for about a week. Thank goodness for the meds, they made a big difference. Some kind of antivirals I can’t recall what the drug was

@djb@social.shirow.net nope! i only got the vaccine because i managed to contract chicken pox a couple few times growing up, and could have a higher than average chance of contracting shingles… plus, i know so many friends & family who've had it, and i thought to myself "well i don't ever want THAT!" 😅
