@djb@social.shirow.net nope! i only got the vaccine because i managed to contract chicken pox a couple few times growing up, and could have a higher than average chance of contracting shingles…
plus, i know so many friends & family who've had it, and i thought to myself "well i don't ever want THAT!" 😅

@scoutie@famichiki.jp I REALLY hope the vaccine reduces the symptoms. It was a fscking nightmare. Many nights couldn’t sleep. Bed ridden for weeks.
