@concretedog@mastodon.social I have a 3d printer but don't even know what M5 tap is. I mean, it's metric something 5mm wide, I suppose, but I'm vague about what a tap is. A thread cutter? On the screw, or the hole?

@triffen@beige.party its a thread cutter. You carefully turn it into a specific size hole to cut threads into metal. Handy and fun skill!
