@reflex@retrogaming.social @sotolf@polymaths.social @anildash@me.dm A genuine question…if the only AI they offered was a local/open model, only available via the browser, and only for specific tasks, what percentage of your concern would that address?
(Personally, I view local, open, private, task-specific AI as the best way to fight the oligarchs.)

I would still be annoyed that they insisted on putting it in the browser, but if the default is disabled it's fine.
