Augusto says everything does have a cost, even if you don’t charge, someone is paying…even if it’s with their time, or donations, or… But he wants to acknowledge that organizing is *work*. He makes a living as a tango organizer.
We just talked about how DC Queer Tango wants to do free or low cost, and so we sought out sponsorship from a community college to get free space. As a condition, we are not allowed to charge or pass the hat.

Ray asks what would some actual nationwide organization look like? Would we want a National Queer Tango Foundation? Do we need an app? Or a social media page with stuff from all over the country or all over North America? Or a queer equivalent to hoy-milonga for finding queer tango when traveling?
