I just said this to someone, and I thought other people might be amused by the phrasing. “that connected paper with the holes down the side, from those old printers that screamed like the internet when they printed” #printer #technology

Seeing #GaelicStorm at the Annapolis Irish Festival We have been rickrolled. Pat (singer) “We have 15 albums and no hits. Do you know how hard that is? Even Rick Astley has a hit.” Parker (guitarist) started playing it. Pat: “how the hell do you know that song?” Parker: “how the hell do you not know that song?” Pat: “you’re like 12.”

You know that “stop forcing AI into fucking everything” graphic that went around on here? I bought the t-shirt. I get a lot of compliments on it. The only negative response was from a friend who works for McKinsey. She read out the “everyone hates it” and said, “do they really, though?” as we stood near the check-in table for an event, and three people in line turned around and said, “YES!”

@mattblaze@federate.social this is what’s also called “tilt shift photography,” right? The thing that makes real life look like a model train village? I remember looking at lenses for that. No idea if either of my camera bodies can do it.
