@petrabrandstrom@mastodon.art I love it. The childhood love of being a hero mixed with a resolute stance that only young children have. Nobody is more fiercely determined than a child. The shadow is nothing - the child doesn't recognize it as an adult would, doesn't feel it the way an adult does because she hasn't felt the full weight of the world and the true darkness. It is a mere obstacle, and she is there to remove it.
