Ever notice how even the good bits of online culture are crypto-US-evangelicalism? Do I need to 'hold myself accountable'? Or 'call out' everything? 'Privilege'? Sounds more like 'transgressions' if you ask me. Secret protestants, everywhere you look. I, on the other hand, sacrifice something (usually a scared looking carrot) at the change of the seasons and declare myself a good person thenceforth. This somehow invalidates every other way I passively benefit from the US - fine details TBA.
