@dangoodin@infosec.exchange Fiio makes some pretty good ones. I just recently bought a Snowsky Disc, and after a firmware update, I love the thing. I also have an open source Tangara that's a bit less stable, but still has potential.

@zak@infosec.exchange @dangoodin@infosec.exchange Bought a Fiio "walkman" as a gift and the build quality seemed pretty good (thing was humongous compared to good walkmans (walkmen?) from back then though), I'd be willing to try out their mp3 players for sure.

@zak@infosec.exchange Did the firmware update do something special? I like my Snowsky Echo Mini a lot, except it can't do scanning, and I wonder, if a firmware update would fix that, it'd be perfect
