@Beachbum @MugsysRapSheet I'm a state and local tax lawyer. Analyzing the laws around what it takes for a wealthy person to move from one location to another for tax purposes is literally what I do for a living. people move out of state because they're about to see a huge income event - ie you're worth 5m but are about to sell your company for 100m, so you move to Florida. OTOH, when tax rates go up, people ASK about moving, but then stay put. 100 PERCENT OF THE TIME.
