@HauntedOwlbear@eldritch.cafe The worst part: it's actually possible, a lot of headphones allow it... But only using some weird proprietary extension, only from the official app(*), and only among devices within the same manufacturer(**).
It's as if you needed to buy one of those 80s' splitter for each separate brand of wired headphones. 🤮
(*): kudos to Logitech to allow this with only buttons presses, no app required.
(**): am sure some noname on AliExpress forgot to put limitations and might cross pair.

@HauntedOwlbear@eldritch.cafe am sure the manufacturers' official excuse is something along the line of Bluetooth standards not offering some simple way to do synchronization (there is nothing like "PTP over Bluetooth") and therefore music sounds weird when broadcast to multiple receivers which don't support the same proprietary extensions. (which would actually not be a hard requirement to share music on _headsets_. But "lock-in / network effect" are to too juicy profit sources)
