That's a good point about "proper darkness," I remember whdn I moved out to this rural area and the first few power outages were super creepy. It was the silence that got to me the most, I didn't realize how accustomed I was to the constant buzzing of humans and machines. I'd get like 5 feet into that cave and turn right around, nope!

@Cat_LeFey@pagan.plus Yeah it also all kinds of modern folklore including some treasure thing because why not. The first time I encountered true darkness out in the country it was the most disorientating thing ever. Got out of the car could see the car but like nothing much else. A dog was barking and moving around but I couldn’t see it properly and you feel like you’re going to fall over. It’s such a weird feeling.
