Trying to remember a #SciFi novel where first contact aliens are deeply confused by atheism among humans because all their science/math/philosophy is based on theism, I think sans any sort of religion, and with the implication it’s biologically encoded in the functioning of their minds. I remember it being very good, and recommended to me as a young atheist by my atheist dad.
