@sunpig@mastodon.scot personally i think these things are cheap and good enough that they're outside of the "rent one" category, this was $250 and gives a FLIR a run for the money

@gloriouscow@oldbytes.space this weekend’s rental was only €40, which I can cover for a fun whim. To drop $250 on one, I’d have to have an actual serious project in mind!
