I guess agencies need a more DIY focussed / selfhosted or cheaper solution (pricing issue?)? Definitely not a mainstream thing yet?

@mandrasch@social.tchncs.de Ah, didn't see that, sorry. It's the sort of feature that only really works at scale. You could build everything but the data cloning in a weekend with kubernetes if you know what you're doing, but turn you have to maintain kubernetes. :-) And the data cloning that Upsun does is based on low level file system magic, not DB dumps. That's harder to replicate.
