@Wuzzy@cyberplace.social I believe that as a site for distributing videos, there are far better non-commercial choices than commercial. So why is YouTube successful? because you can make money at it. If you make a popular series of videos and you get enough subscribers, you can make bank. You can actually make a living PeerTube is technically vastly superior to YouTube, but it will never replace it, because you can't put up a video that makes you a profit. That then is the rub. How do you put up videos and make money for doing it at a site that is not corrupted? When we discover the answer to that, the magic happens.
