RE: https://mastodon.social/@savetheAI/116540421933003879 This was always the obvious outcome. AI is deeply inefficient since it's brute-forcing every output. Lots of folks aren't seeing that, though, because AI is so deeply subsidized you're only paying ~5% of the actual cost of tokens.
