Just had a phone call from my youngest brother. He’s after a car to use as a runabout while his daughter’s Holden Craptiva gets a new turbocharger fitted. My niece has an auto-only licence so she’s driving the family car leaving my brother with either a fuel-hungry Mustang or a Renault Trafic van he shares with his wife. Meanwhile, I have a 13-year-old manual Mazda 2 sitting in the driveway doing nothing. He’s going to borrow it for a week or so.
