Pain is a feature right now. A project today involved use of a powerful electric rotary hammer to bash its way twice through four inches of concrete to reattach a wooden slat that had come adrift from a concrete park bench. I had to bend awkwardly while doing my stint on the drill and it’s done my lower back no favours at all. And to top it off, both knees are giving me grief with the pain, the left knee ‘cos it’s fuct with arthritis and the right knee because of the stance I had to take with the rotary hammer. I still have a couple of Palexia tablets from a pack of 20 prescribed two years ago but I’m saving those for when I really need serious pain relief.
