@hunter@copland.social I think the (unfair and a hit job from Amazon) suit that publishers were ‘setting prices’ cooled Apple’s heels in that segment. The publishers were wanting this because Amazon was selling ebooks as a loss leader to the point authors couldn’t get paid.
