@catileptic@chaos.social I often thought about a sewing machine. I'm of a size where trousers come in two sizes: too long and too short. I'm too cheap to pay a tailor, so I just have frayed hems all the time. I wear a lot of t-shirts, and the workmanship is so bad in the sweat-shops that about half the time the seams are pulling out when I get it. A couple of minutes zipping through a machine would make me happy. But there always seems to be a money crunch.
