In someways I’m very thankful to live in a country that gives you free* access to “cutting edge” medical interventions for things (the style of thing in my arm is only 10 years old, and so much more expensive than shittier techniques that the UK/US don’t use it yet) but it also sucks that outside of papers (which focus on the recovery of people >60) that I can’t find other peoples recovery processes to compare to/understand 😭
