The music library on my phone got so weird with doubled-up songs and broken downloads and whatnot that I just switched off library sync on the phone, purged all the music app data, did a library update/resync from my mac, then turned sync back on on the phone (and set it to re-download everything.) Now it's working as expected. Apple stuff: It just works. Except when it doesn't.
