@datakid It's good at some coding tasks, if you don't care about the security of what it has built or have enough knowledge and time to fix any vulnerabilities yourself. And also only if you know enough about how to engineer prompts to make it produce good stuff in the first place. But we're already at the point where not everyone should have to work. So many jobs are meaningless busy-work. We're grateful for those because work is required for money. If LLMs take jobs, that just removes options for income. We need to solve the income issue first and maaaaaybe not speedrun our extinction in the process of automation. I say this as someone who shouldn't have to work but needs to contribute income to my own health care.
