@slyka@pawb.fun @Bit_form@corteximplant.com doesn't it damage the cutter, as it's designed for a softer plastic?

@bonkers@nerdculture.de @Bit_form@corteximplant.com the cutter (or more technically correct the embossing bit) is made from tungsten carbide. That's pretty much the hardest material I can easily work with at home. And CDs are very easy to emboss since polycarbonate flows very easily under pressure. It's the same material I use for my regular lathe cut records. Though the non CD polycarbonate is a lot less noisy and scratchy.
