My hot take comes from a cynicism of modern corporate systems. Up until (looks at calendar and watch) not long ago if a company had the next killer capability, they’d keep it secret until it was productized. Or weaponized.
I’m born of the Cold War where the boasts were hollow and the real capabilities were kept hidden. 😀

@bplein@bvp.me If it wasn't coming from Anthropic (or DeepMind for that matter), I'd agree with you). All I can offer is my perspective and what I'm hearing from being up closer to this all than most.
