I finally got a Pi booting cleanly into a framebuffer-direct gstreamer setup which looks pretty slick while it boots. I even managed to write some Rust code to manage the gstreamer streams. The camera display is almost done! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDPTQ9VW_7c
