@toastedlynx@meow.social a lot of what you're talking about im already familiar with from the steam deck which has most of the same stuff already, especially the software bits, but I'm interested in both the quality of the plastic and the gyro stuff.
the plastic is on my mind because of how so many other plastic devices decay and get that gross sticky feeling after a few years.
and the gyro stuff because, well, it sounds like they're really nailed that compared to some other alternatives.

@Leviamicky@meow.social Reviews seem to indicate it's the same or very similar plastic to the Steam deck, it doesn't have that rubber coating that goes sticky after a few years it's just raw ABS I think. So it should be fine considering I have ancient controllers made of ABS with no stickiness. If you have a steam deck then you pretty much have everything already haha. Even the gyro though I think gyro is a little more useful when you're not moving the screen you're looking at around with it.
