Today saw more pep in my step, although I am pushing against the limits of the goals I have set for myself.
To wit, I ate:
-A bowl of grape nuts with chia seeds, flax seeds, cashews, almonds, honey, and 2% milk.
-A large, lightly dressed salad of lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and parmesan cheese; a portion of carrots and zucchini; a half portion of rice pilaf; and a half portion of chicken in some kind of cream sauce.
-a breath mint.
-a small golden mango.
-a banana.
-two hard-boiled eggs doused in Tabasco sauce.
-a kombucha.
-two portions of cod with garlic, lime, chilies, cilantro, and a squirt of fish sauce.
-a handful of raspberries.
-one of those little red waxy single-serve gouda wheels.
-three cups of coffee.
-ten glasses of water.
-men's multivitamin
I biked 30 minutes at high intensity.
I'm guessing I fucked up on salt, and I had more animal protein than is probably warranted. But I felt pretty good about myself and managed to not be a mopey, brain dead sad boy. This was the first time I had food prepared by someone else (work lunch) since I decided to unfuck myself, and I kinda knew it'd be much saltier and richer than the food I am making for myself. But for substantial compliance, I'll take it. I'm starting to feel the extra energy creeping in. I'm also BMing like some sort of butthole genius.
I am not sure whether this is gonna produce the intended effect of losing weight and lowering my blood pressure. But then, the day before I started all this, I ate a heroic quantum of Totino's pizza rolls for dinner and followed it up with more pizza rolls for dessert, so my room for improvement is substantial.

It seems like so much when I write it out, but I'm still hungry. Perhaps it is because I'm so big to start with.
