@danielpunkass@mastodon.social statistics are here whether we like it or not. Hell I always knew how powerful they were, as an environmental science major I was blown away how well, even 30 years ago, we could predict something as difficult as the weather with the statistical tools and data. Guess how well we can predict weather today (minus the climate change increase in “thousand year events”) .. try looking it up. Remarkable.
