#Transition is for #trans people the process in which they stop acting. We've been handed one of two scripts (colour coded), and it was the wrong one - think Vin Diesel doing MacBeth, hilarious for a stunt, really not something you can keep up for a living. And then we... stop doing that. At least that's what it should be. Instead, often enough, we get the prospect of passing. Dressing a certain way. Picking clothes that will hide certain features. Stop acting one way, and starting to act another. No. Just stop acting. You're not leaving one cookie cutter that relentlessly amputated you to jump into the next one that'll do the same. Stop acting. Unlearn the acts you've learned. That takes time. Approach what you have been all along, and draw your actions from that. Don't take something that is meant to be liberation to put yourself into a different cage. This isn't just for trans people, though. Stop acting. Seriously. Anyway, that's how I ended up as a vaguely fem goblin.
